SUMOFLEX uses a mechanical retraction principle with an integrated compression spring that keeps the cable bundle tightly and securely guided along the robot arm – without loops, kinks, or excessive wear.
A robust corrugated tube maintains constant tension on the cable bundle and provides reliable protection against external influences.
The system is modular in design and available in various corrugated tube diameters (29, 36, 48, 70 mm) and retraction lengths.
This means that SUMOFLEX can be individually adapted to any robot application.
